
About R. W. Carmona
Ronald Wayne Carmona completed his Bachelor's Degree at Rice University in 2010 and is a graduate of the Booker T. Washington High School for the Engineering Professions in Houston, Texas. While he initially received training to become a research scientist, he has spent his post-collegiate time working in the fields of technology, healthcare, and education.
For the last four years, he has been employed as an Educator in Math. At the moment, Ronald Wayne is serving as a Math Instructor for grades 7-12 at D.A.E.P., located in Cleveland, Texas within the Cleveland ISD School District. His primary focus is instilling a love of math in students while making the subject accessible and achievable for all, regardless of innate abilities.
To further extend his reach in the field of education, Ronald Wayne is currently enrolled in a Master's Degree in Counseling and Development through Lamar University with a Specialization in Professional School Counseling. This program of study will allow him to concurrently pursue the requirements to become both a School Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas.
This will allow him to further impact the local communities and their students in a more significant and lasting way. He believes that all people, especially students, of any background deserves the ability to seek and obtain physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
